President’s Report: Mark Greenstein, Fred Savageau

1.        Ballot must go out with June mailing.  Candidates: Mark Greenstein for President-elect, Jeff LeTendre for Treasurer and Tom Curtis for Secretary.

2.        At next month’s meeting, we need to set a date for summer board meeting.

3.        Form a committee to develop ideas for NYSCHP Mid-year Clinical Meeting, October 13, 2004 at the Crowne Plaza. We will provide help with registration, etc.  Need to promote to WYNSHP and PSR.

4.        Initiatives from Fred:  Do Bylaws need changes? Increase membership by visiting hospitals monthly. Improve our financial situation. Develop chapter awards for RPh and tech, nominations, deadlines.

5.        Drawing for free 1 year membership with prepayment at the September meeting.

 

 

Treasurer’s Report:  MaryBeth Gilbert

1.        1.     Report approved.

2.        Need to reimburse delegates for Annual Assembly room/travel expenses.

Legislative Report:  Marv Knoeck

1.        CDTM bill comes for a vote in the Senate Higher Ed committee on Thursday at 10:30.  Marv and Geneen have been in contact with some of the senators to encourage their vote.

1.       September:  Ellen Howard sponsoring at the DelMonte lodge.

2.       October:  Peter Rice from Am. Red Cross. Wants to do 1 or 2 hours on colloids.  Fred will talk to Peter and PSR about making this a joint meeting.  (Third Sunday would be Oct. 17, third Wednesday would be Oct. 20.)  Would need a large facility such as Burgundy Basin, Radisson or Holidome.

3.       Michelle Lewicki from Abbott wants to do a program. (Other Abbott rep wants to do November.)

4.       Mass. College of Pharmacy program for December?
