President’s Report: Mark Greenstein, Fred Savageau

1.        Fred attended the PSR meeting:  They will have 1-2 busses for Pharmacy Day. 

2.        PSR isn’t doing anything for Poison Prevention week but are open to doing a joint program next year. 

3.        PSR is interested in having a joint meeting, though day of the week is an issue.  They meet on Sundays.  Possibly have two meetings, one on a Wednesday, one on a Sunday.

4.        PSR would be happy to have their meetings posted on our website provided the price difference is indicated.

5.        PAHPwebsite:  Website is functional.  Has many links.  Has our CE schedule, can link to RSVP for meetings (eventually have the RSVPs to the website and send minutes/meeting announcements from the site).  Also includes NYSCP membership application that prints out and is mailed.  Fred has to get approval from the office.

6.        From Mark:  The NYSCHP Midyear Clinical will be in Rochester (!) at the Crowne Plaza.  Danio’s poster was accepted for the Annual Assembly.

2.  Possibly form a committee with PSR in October for a   Poison Prevention program.

Treasurer’s Report:  MaryBeth Gilbert

1.        1.     Report approved.

2.        Alaris owes us for December.  McKesson may also owe us for November.  We lost money on February.  

Secretary Report: Maureen Geiser

1.        Nothing new.

Membership Report: Dan Cole, Geneen Gibson

1.        Geneen participated in a conference call regarding awards and local chapter awards.  Eight have been established, one is pending.  Steps for implementing awards discussed.

Legislative Report:  Marv Knoeck

1.        Pharmacy day March 23, 2004, Albany NY.  Geneen, Fred and Marv are going.  Check for others at tonight’s meeting.  Our issue is CDTM and PSSNY’s issue is Medicare reimbursement.

1.       April 2004: Pfizer sponsoring. Woodcliff.  Jane Sunberg is scheduled.  Psych topic.

2.       May 2004: Peggy Judge from NYS OPD and Jake McCarty from Bureau of Controlled Substances to speak on Diversion of Controlled Substances.  Location and sponsor to be determined. 

3.       June 2004:  Dan Hayes on Emergency Medicine? Still need a sponsor.

4.       September:  Ellen Howard at the DelMonte lodge.
